Help Patrick open
his tourism business
in Namibia
Patrick is turning a lifetime of local knowledge into a tourism business of his own. We're a small group helping him cover the start-up costs. Whatever you can give brings him closer to opening day.

Meet Patrick
Patrick was born in Walvis Bay in 1983 and has lived on the Namibian coast his entire life. He knows the dunes, the hidden coves, the patterns of the desert wind, the best places to watch the sunrise on the Skeleton Coast.
He started as a gardener at Uri Adventures. One peak season his boss pulled him onto a five-day desert tour to help with the camp, and that trip decided everything. From there he worked his way up. Gardener, then driver, then tour guide.
Now he’s ready to build something of his own. A small, locally-rooted tour business that brings travelers into the country he knows by heart. The vision is there. The clients are there. What’s missing is the start-up capital to make it real.
"I don't want to keep working for others forever. I want to build something my children can take over one day."

The first milestone: getting Patrick on the road
Of all the things on the funding list, one matters more than the others. Without a reliable 4x4, there is no business.

Meet Patrick: a life on the Namibian coast
Patrick was born in Walvis Bay. He reads dunes the way some people read maps. After a decade of guiding for others, he is ready to start his own.
Welcome to the journey
After months of conversations, a quiet promise has turned into something tangible. The project is live, and so is the site behind it.
