After months of conversations, a quiet promise has turned into something tangible. This site is now live, and so is the project behind it.

For those landing here for the first time: Patrick is a man we’ve come to know on the Namibian coast, who has guided travellers through the dunes, the salt flats, and the silent shorelines for the better part of a decade. He’s worked for tour operators big and small. Now, he wants to build something of his own.

We’re a small group of friends, mostly Swiss, mostly people who’ve travelled with Patrick over the years. We’re not a charity. We’re not a foundation. We’re four or five people who believe that the right amount of help, given to the right person at the right moment, can change a life. That’s it.

This site exists for one reason: to make it easy for anyone who wants to be part of Patrick’s start to do so. Monthly or one-time, however much makes sense. 100% of every euro goes directly to Patrick. We cover the running costs ourselves.

What you’ll find here over the coming months is honest. Updates on what’s been bought. Numbers on what’s been spent. Photos when there are photos to share. Setbacks when there are setbacks. We’re not trying to sell anything. We’re documenting how a tourism business gets built from the ground up by someone who’s earned it.
